Notices of funding opportunities for institutional training grants (T32)
NIMH encourages innovative Institutional Training Grants (T32) applications to support research training programs within the research areas and research priorities supported by the Institute. Research training programs are designed to allow the Program Director / Principal Investigator (PD/PI) to select the trainees (predoctoral and/or postdoctoral fellows) and develop a curriculum of study and research experiences necessary to provide high quality research training. PDs/PIs are strongly encouraged to contact the appropriate NIMH Research Training and Career Development representative well in advance of the receipt deadline to discuss their institution’s application plans

Notices of funding opportunities for research education grants (R25)
NIMH supports Research Education Grants (R25) designed to provide Institutional support for creative and innovative research education programs. Supported activities include 1) the development of programs to support research-oriented residents during psychiatry residency, 2) the development of short-courses, and 3) the development of mentoring networks for individuals.
PDs/PIs are strongly encouraged to contact the appropriate NIMH Research Training and Career Development representative well in advance of the receipt deadline to discuss their institution’s application plans.
